French Conversation

Status:Active, open to new members
Coordinator:
When: Monthly on Tuesday afternoons 2:00 pm-3:30 pm
Twice monthly 1st and 3rd Tues
Venue: Bradford Circle for Foreign Languages

The 1st meeting of our group in September will be on Tuesday 17 September at 2.00 pm, until 3.30 pm. We'll be at the building owned by the Bradford Circle for Foreign Languages (BCFL): Circle House, 10 Eldon Place, BD1 3AZ, off Manningham Lane in the large room on the 1st floor. You're welcome to try us out. We are an informal group of people who enjoy chatting in French. Come along to listen if you prefer; there's no obligation to speak! If your school French has become rusty, taking part in this group will enable you to practice and become more at ease with the language. We are of varying abilities but all enjoy talking together about anything and everything.....in French.

During each one and a half hours’ session we “chat” informally in French. Frequently the topic has been individual members’ holidays often accompanied by photos shown from a laptop or mobile phone. From September we will decide upon a different topic during each meeting for the following session. You don’t need to have perfect French, but if you wish to brush up your French or gain more practice in speaking the language, you are very welcome to join us. Please contact Jane if you’re interested in becoming part of our group and/or have any questions.
