Several members of the group give talks and visiting speakers also give presentations. A few times a year we go on a visit to a site or a museum in the local area. We have many members regularly contributing high quality input and short talks or giving help as members of our mini-Rug group or in other ways, to ensure that our group keeps being a friendly one as well as being one of the largest in Bradford u3a.

The group shares archaeology & geology group resources in various ways.

Tea and coffee and biscuits are available when we meet in the Mechanics Insitute, from 1.30pm, included in the £3.50 room charge.

The talk will cover the period from about 2000 BC to 1400 BC and include a brief discussion of the Santorini volcano eruption.
