We share writing derived from a writing prompt suggested the previous month, and write in response to surprise items provided by a member of the group.
The group has sufficient members but welcomes those wishing to join its waiting list.
We are a small group, which is an effective listening post for its members, and will share session facilitating for 2025.
We use cues provided from members in advance, and a surprise cue on the day to test and challenge our spontaneous writing skills, and develop our performance. We read our work out aloud, with short discussion afterwards, so have found that a larger group presents logistic difficulties (time needed to get round member readings). We are a diverse bunch, and the mood ranges from playful fun to more serious, for both poetry and prose.
We welcome new members to a waiting list and could support and guide them to form a new group. New member enquiries to coordinator Bruce please.
