Group email: Pickleball group
When: On Friday afternoons
Every Friday, 12.00pm - 2.00pm
Venue: Heaton Tennis and Squash Club

Pickleball is the fastest growing racket game in the u3a and is played on a badminton sized court with a lower net. It is usually a doubles game, great fun and very sociable. It is an easy game to learn and play and is ideal for beginners and anyone who is rather less mobile than they used to be! It’s a great way to keep fit and burn a few calories.

The group meets at Heaton Squash and Tennis Club every Friday, 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm. We are hoping to start a second group on Mondays, 12.30 to 2.30. If you would like more information about pickleball and/or attend an introductory session to see what pickleball is all about and give it a try, please contact Terry Wassall.

Cost is £5 for the 2 hour session.
